Kyle Staver

Staver lives and works in New York. She received her MFA in painting from Yale University, College of Art, New Haven, CT in 1987 and her BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Minneapolis, MN in 1976. Staver’s work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Half Gallery, New York; Moskowitz Bayse, Los Angeles; RX Gallery, Paris; National Arts Club, New York; Tibor de Nagy, New York; Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, Lancaster, PA, among others. She has been included in numerous group exhibitions some of which include; Harper's Books, East Hampton, NY; Zürcher Gallery, New York; National Arts Club, New York; Eva Presenhuber Gallery, New York; Santa Clara University, California; American Academy of Arts and Letters, New York; and the National Academy of Design, New York.

Staver is the recipient of a College Art Association Artist Award for a Distinguished Body of Work, a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, and an American Academy of Arts and Letters Purchase Prize; she is also an Honorary Member at the National Arts Club, New York.

Her work is in the public collections of the National Academy of Design, New York; the American Academy of Arts and Letters, New York; the National Arts Club, New York; and Portland Community College, Oregon.
